CTS-300 Electrostatic Field Detection System

Touch the wires — or just move them — and the alarm fires. A passive, differential-capacitance sensing system for wall tops, fence crowns and any climb path. No energized fence, no high-voltage permits, no safety controversy.

CE — EMC Directive 2014/30/EU FCC Part 15B Verified IP66 Enclosure

How It Works

Three stainless sensing wires are held on purpose-designed brackets with precise spacing along the protected edge. The CTS-300 measures and compares capacitance changes between adjacent wires and between wires and ground. When an intruder touches or displaces a wire, the change is detected instantly.

Each CTM processor is a dual-zone unit: it continuously compares the signals of the two zones it supervises (each up to 150 m — 300 m per processor). Environmental events such as storms affect both zones simultaneously and are filtered out; a localized change in one zone is treated as an intrusion attempt. This differential technique is what keeps false alarms near zero in fog, rain, snow, wind and ice.

The system follows terrain — no straight line required — and mounts on existing fences, wall tops and building parapets without any additional fittings. It is especially effective where intruders may use ladders or bridging to cross.

Key Features

  • Non-electrified passive sensing — safe and permit-free in most jurisdictions
  • Differential dual-zone processing filters weather-induced false alarms
  • Stainless steel sensing wires, corrosion-proof
  • One processor = two alarm zones, up to 300 m coverage
  • Follows terrain and corners — not limited to straight runs
  • Tamper, cut-wire and enclosure-open supervision built in
  • Dry contacts + RS-422 (optional TCP/IP) — easy third-party integration
  • 4-level surge protection on all input/output ports
  • Maintenance-free operation; MTTR 30 minutes
